Is the Max SPL rating on the website peak or continuous?
It’s a peak level measured from a meter away. Many of the specs both utilize 6db and 12db crest factors. An official note is shared below:
Calculated max SPL at 1m with 4:1pink noise. Specified as whole space (free field) for full range loudspeakers, half space for subwoofers
Looking at Accelerated Life test, this is continuous and more the number to use when calculating expected output. It is recommend to use Resolution to determine system performance.
