Cat5e at lengths of 150-200'
Breakout cables for Adaptive are shielded, and our Radius Ethercon cables are unshielded.
It’s assumed that with 150-200 foot runs of network cable running up to the arrays that there is a risk to our network when really the opposite is true.
The network cables without shielding become pretty powerful, high frequency transmitters according to Audinate. This could interfere with other cables running in close proximity like some lighting cables, analog, etc. Large buildings run miles and miles of unshielded cable alongside each other and other lines with no issues.
