Compatible Ethernet Switches for Use in a DANTE Network
In principle, most Ethernet switches are compatible with Dante™ and should not present any compatibility issues.
Before utilizing an Ethernet switch other than those provided by EAW, EAW strongly recommends that users verify their switch specifications with Audinate’s documentation to ensure compatibility.
Consistent, reliable operation of a Dante™ protocol network requires features such as Gigabit ports, Diffserv (DSCP) Quality of Service (QoS) with strict priority, and the ability to disable EEE functions
